type a word to do a search {you only need one}, then follow the white rabbit.  she points the way to an ongoing "click trail" that adds, removes and replaces keywords in your search as you click.  this effectively narrows your search criteria down to an exact page, eliminats the need to type or know "advanced search" methods and because all pages are indexed according to actual content {not link releationships} you simply get better results easier.  we suggest you start with typing as little information as possible. after all, why type when you can simply click?

the click trail is comprised of {a minus sign}, a {word} and a {plus sign}.  an example would be: internet.
if you click on the sign this will add the word to the search query in a way that will remove or exclude the word from future results.  if you click on the word itself this will discontinue the current "click trail"/query and begin a new search "click trail" starting with the clicked word.  if you click on the sign this will add this word to the current query.  any click automatically executes the new search to save you an extra click.  we're generation x - we like shortcuts.
